I let my girls pick what kind of cake they get for their birthday, and this year Madalyn wanted to have a horse cake. She wanted it to be pink though, she is such a girl! It actually ended up being one of the easiest cakes I have ever done, so that was really nice. This is Madalyn and Savanna, waiting to eat the cake. Madalyn turned 7 on November 12th. She had a fun birthday. She didn't have a friend birthday party this year because she had one last year, and I don't want to do friend parties every year, but I let her invite a couple of friends over from school to play. I let her pick what we had for dinner and she chose Campbell's Bean with Bacon soup and cornbread. She was thinking about having steak and potatoes but she changed her mind a couple days before her birthday. Nick and I were hoping for the steak, but what do you do? She had a fun time opening her presents, and was really happy with her presents. This is Madalyn with all her loot. Madalyn got a new dress and shoes. Madalyn opening her presents.
