In February we went to Disneyland. It was a trip we had been planning for almost a year. It was Nick's, (and the family's) graduation gift. We had a great time while we were there. My sister Rochelle and her family decided to join us for part of the time. It was so fun to have them there with us. Emma had her birthday while we were there so we had a little party for her at Rochelle's hotel room. We went to the beach and spent a lot of fun days at the parks. Emma got really sick while we were there, so we had one day where we couldn't really go anywhere, and the rest of the days we gave her tylenol and dragged her around with us. She was able to have fun but it could have been better for her, and for me. I got a little sleep deprived while we were there. Overall we had a great trip, and would like to go back again. Here are some pictures of our trip. I posted a lot of pictures, but we took way more than I am posting.

I got soaked on Grizzly River Rapids. You can't tell with the color of my pants in the picture, but they were completely soaked.

Emma loved the carousel rides. They were some of her favorites! She is pretty excited in this picture.



Savanna, Madalyn and Emma found Jessie hats and they had to try them on. We didn't end up buying them though.

We found one!

Nick and I put an offer on a house here in our neighborhood, and they accepted our offer. We are going to close on the 28th of May. We can't wait! We are praying that everything goes well between now and then so it can become ours. We are really happy about the house. It is a 5 bedroom house with a nice yard that has a garden spot and raspberries. I am so excited about the garden area. My girls will still be able to go to their same school, so they are really excited to get this house. We feel really good about this house after all our looking!

We have BIG news!

We are going to have another little boy. I am 20 weeks along, and found out today that our baby is a boy. We are pretty excited. Savanna and Madalyn really wanted the baby to be a boy. We let them come to the ultrasound to see the baby, and afterwards Savanna told me she was really lucky. I asked her why and she told me that she always gets what kind of baby she wants. She really wanted Emma to be a girl, and now we're having what she wants again. I told Emma that we are going to have a little baby boy, and she told me "I don't want that kind." I asked her what she wanted and she said " A baby girl!" Oh well, you can't make everyone happy. Nick and I are excited and we are all going out to eat tonight to celebrate.

House Hunting

Nick and I have been house hunting the last couple of weeks. I found a home that I just loved, but it needed a lot of work done on it. It is really close to the school my girls go to, and we all loved the home. It's previous tenants, (it was a rental) apparently had dogs, and all the carpets needed to be replaced, there were holes in the walls, and it needed painting. It also had a leak in the laundry room, and the oven didn't work. Ok, we thought they would give us a steal of a deal, and then we could do all the work to get it fixed so we made an offer. They wouldn't come down on their asking price so, no house for us yet. There was no way we were going to pay as much as they were asking with all the things it had wrong with it. It could be a nice home, but not for us. We are still on the lookout for a home. My girls are begging me to find one in the neighborhood so they can stay at their school, and I am hoping to be able to make them happy.
