Kindergarten Graduation and Closing!
The last couple of weeks have been really crazy for us. Today was Savanna's Kindergarten Graduation. It was really great. At the graduation all the kids got to tell what they wanted to be when they grew up. Savanna said she wanted to be a doctor. It was pretty funny what some of the other kids wanted to be. One wanted to be a McDonald's worker, another a spy, cat rescuer, power puff girl, super model, to name a few. Savanna had a great teacher and a fun class. Last night I put her to bed, and about an hour later she was sobbing so I went to see what was going on. She was upset that school was almost over. She also has a friend that is moving at the end of the summer, and her teacher might not be back next year due to a decline in registration for next year's kindergarten. She was so sad that she might never see her teacher again! We talked it out and she finally went to bed feeling better, but it is a big stress for her right now. Poor girl.
We also closed on our house today!!! Ya-hoo!!! I am so excited. Everything just fell right into place, and we feel like it was meant to be. Heavenly Father has blessed us with so many extra's with this home, that I never expected to get. I want to do a little painting and a little sanitizing, though the house looks very clean (our sellers left it in excellent condition), and gradually move everything over. I have been going through all of our stuff the last couple of weeks trying to de-junk everything. You would think that since we moved a year ago, we wouldn't have that much to go through. It is crazy how much stuff kids can accumulate in a short year. I will post some pictures of our new home when we get some.
